MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD

"I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Reddam House Waterfall Estate family. The Preparatory School is very excited to welcome you on a journey of discovery and fun.  We look forward to sharing this journey with you.
Education is a partnership between the parents and the school. It is essential that school and home, work closely together in a relationship of respect and trust to assist the students in our care to flourish. Please work very closely with your child’s teacher/s and keep the channels of communication open. I believe that both parties have the child’s best interests at heart, at all times."

Mr Glenn Jones

Reddam House Waterfall Estate is a co-educational, non-denominational environment designed to recognise, nurture and develop the individuality of each student placed in our care and to extend students to their maximum potential in all aspects of education. Our teachers understand the need not only for the importance of teaching the required curriculum, but also forming a relationship with your child, a relationship that is built on trust and mutual respect.

All children in our Preparatory School are required to participate in at least one activity per week. These may be sporting, cultural, or both. We encourage as much participation and involvement as possible. The extra-curricular time table caters for beginners as well as those students who are at a provincial level in their particular activity.

The Music @ Reddam programme is compulsory for all students in Grades 4 – 6.  This programme involves an individual instrumental music lesson as well as participation in an ensemble.
Each student is involved in the Reddam Gives Back Programme, whereby each class chooses a project in the wider community and facilitates the needs of their chosen programme during the year.
If you have any queries, or if you would like to meet with me or any other members of staff, please do not hesitate to contact the school in order to make an appointment.
I look forward to your positive support as we strive for the best education possible for your child.

We encourage students to be active members of the School by participating in a variety of co-curricular activities.  A full programme of the term's cultural and sporting activities will be issued at the end of each term in preparation for the following term. Students are encouraged to select at least two activities per term
Traditional school activities (soccer, tennis, cricket etc.) are included in the tuition fee.  Other specialised activities (martial arts, karate, dance etc.) are offered at an additional cost.  We offer you the convenience of these services on our campus but it must be remembered that attendance at school functions and activities will take precedence over these “external” activities.
