Open Invitation

Reddam House Waterfall extends an open invitation to meet with the Head of School. We invite you to experience our school and its educational facilities first-hand; to explore our centre of academic, cultural and sporting excellence and meet the dynamic teachers, handpicked to inspire exceptional learning experiences.

School Environment

A caring, close-knit Reddam House community welcomes children from 1 year old to matric. Catering for Stage 1 to Grade 12 students, affiliated to the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) – and offering a diverse, stimulating subject choice – highly qualified, dynamic, experienced teachers are the custodians of your child’s future.

Campus Life

A sprawling, mixed residential development, Waterfall Estate lies mid-way between Johannesburg and Pretoria on a 2200 hectare tract of land, including hospitals, office parks, hotels and major shopping centres.

Launched in January 2012 – Reddam House Waterfall Estate – residing on 36 acres of this prime land, embraces this growing community. The school has extensive views of pools and ponds cascading down to the Jukskei River. A lush greenbelt and well-established poplar trees separate the Early Learning School from the Preparatory School and College.

The school’s architecture is perfectly suited to this rustic environment, with wood and stone-clad walls. The tranquil setting provides an atmosphere conducive to discovery and learning.

The Early Learning School follows the Reddam House Sydney model with a strong Reggio Emilia-inspired approach to teaching. The school features a very large, central piazza to exhibit children’s work, a performance hall, a kitchen and dining hall, a covered AstroTurf play area, a library and ateliers. As in many Italian towns, the piazza is designed as an interconnected space fostering interaction, curiosity, exploration and celebration. All classrooms open out onto multiple playgrounds, with two larger outdoor exploration and play areas.

The sprawling campus includes extensive, cutting-edge facilities, including art, drama, dance and music studios, computer and science laboratories, a hall, a performance auditorium and a media centre. The canteen is managed by local health food chain Kauai.
